Har har. I said I’d give you the Prince of Tennis 177-178 summary, but I lied. :P I thought I should get in something Naruto onto this blog of mine. TOMORROW, I’ll write the summary. :)

Gaara vs. Kimimaro

“Whatever obstacle appears, Kimimaro will not be beaten.”

Kimimaro starts off with Tessenka no Mai and created a whip. He creates bones from his left arm and turns it into a drill-like shape. He wraps his whip around Gaara. Gaara protects himself using sand and his Shukaku Shield technique.

Cut to Orochimaru’s hideout, Orochi and Kabuto talk about Kimimaro’s health. A bunch of flashbacks play from the previous episode.

Kimimaro tries to drill through the Shukaku Shield, but his bone drill breaks.

Orochimaru had just given Kimimaro the Earth seal. Kimimaro decides to fight all of the Sound Four. He beats them fairly easily even with each of the four using their curse seals.
[/flashback]

Gaara plans to use the rest of his chakra to sink Kimimaro into sand about 200 meters deep. Kimimaro gets pissed and uses Sawarbi no Mai which creates bones shaped like spikes to appear from the ground.

Back to the day when Orochimaru was planning to destroy Konoha, Kimimaro was there when Orochimaru killed a team and melted the faces off of them. Kimimaro coughs blood.

Orochimaru kills the Kazekage. Kimimaro coughs blood and collapses.
[/flashback]

Gaara and Lee are now sitting on clumps of sand in the air. They are about to descend when Kimiaro appears behind them comming out of a bone. Kimimaro was about to strike Gaara…

“I’m dead.” - Kimimaro

Gaara and Lee are now sitting underneath trees. Gaara admits Kimimaro would have beaten them if it wasn’t for his illness. Lee claims his teacher (Gai) doesn’t think the same way. Gaara calls him a busy body. XD Lee gets angry and Gaara notices Lee is just like Kimimaro. They both get angry if they’re ‘important person’ is insulted. Gaara comtinues to talk about important people and how Naruto saved him from loneliness.

End of part 1.

Naruto vs. Sasuke

“I’m not going to associate with Konoha anymore. Go home.”

Sasuke stops at two stone statues who look like the First and Second Hokage. Naruto calls after Sasuke, and when Sasuke turns around, he reveals that half of his face seems corrupted. His left eye is now black, and his pupil is yellow. His curse seal has taken over half of his face.

Many flashbacks. -.-;

Maruto gets pissed and jumps to the other stone statue to punch Sasuke. -FLASHBACK of when Sasuke and Naruto fought on the Hospital roof- Sasuke states he no longer wants a future with Naruto. Sasuke picks up Naruto and drop punches him. Naruto falls in the water below, gets back up and tells Sasuke to wake up. He charges at Sasuke only to get kicked in the face. Sasuke says his dream doesn’t exist in the future, but in the past…

[flashback]
Young Sasuke watches Itachi nail targets in the bullseye with kunai along with a target in a blindspot. Sasuke wants to try, but Itachi has an important mission the next day. Sasuke goes beyond his limit and gets his ankle sprained. Itachi takes him home on his back and asks why Sasuke is smiling. Sasuke is excited about his entrance to the academy the next day and promises to do as well as Itachi.
[/flashback]

Sasuke and Naruto throw kunai at each other. Naruto hides behind a rock. Sasuke uses a simmilar technique that Itachi used to hit the blindspot target to hit Naruto. Naruto dodges the kunai by jumping inffront of the rock. Sasuke uses shuriken with string to tie Naruto to the rock. Katon! Dragon Fire no Jutsu!

Rawr. That’s it for this episode. It annoyed me a fair bit because of all the flashbacks. @_@; Pretty good ep though.
